This wine will continue to develop beautifully over the next 10 years if stored correctly.
We thought 2012 was an exceptional year. 2013 is proving to be something very special also, particularly for the late red varieties. Quite a warm season but mild weather in late autumn gave good colour and tannin development, beautiful aromas and concentration.
Hand picked and sorted. Fermented in small open fermenters, 20 days maceration (colour took around 10 days to deepen), 14 months in 500L French casks. Regular gravity racking and aeration during oak maturation. Minimal handling to bottle.
