- Estate A block Pinot Noir –MV6 Clone.
- 1983 plantings on own roots
- Row orientation N/S.
- East facing gentle slope, sheltered from western afternoon sun. – VSP shoot positioning. Crop 1.8T/Ac
- Soils – Sandy clay loams.
- Harvested and destemmed to open fermenters of 2T capacity
- Very low rate inoculation and complete CO2 cover during early soak phase
- Hand plunged daily starting with 2, and reducing to 1 in the latter part of the ferment
- Pressedtotankondryness. Nocuts
- Racked to barrel after 12 hour settling
- MLF completed in French hogs head oak, sulphured on lees – Matured in oak for 8 months, some lees stirring
- Blended and bottled in late Nov 2015, no fining or filtration
